1.1    .................... moves to amend H. F. No. 4159 as follows:
1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. VADNAIS LAKE WATER AREA MANAGEMENT
1.4ORGANIZATION; STORM SEWER UTILITY FEES.
1.5    Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary and pursuant to joint powers
1.6agreements authorized under Minnesota Statutes, sections 103B.211 and 471.59, the
1.7Vadnais Lake Water Area Management Organization may certify to the county auditor any
1.8fees or charges imposed by the organization under Minnesota Statutes, sections 103B.211
1.9and 103B.241 or 444.075, and the parcels on which the charges are imposed. The county
1.10auditor shall extend the charges on the property tax statements. The amounts must be
1.11certified by December 31 to appear on statements for taxes payable in the following year.
1.12The charges, if not paid, become delinquent and are subject to the same penalties and the
1.13same rate of interest as real property taxes. The county auditor may charge the Vadnais
1.14Lake Water Area Management Organization a fee in the amount necessary to recover the
1.15costs of administering the charges."
1.16Amend the title accordingly
