1.4    "Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2007 Supplement, section 181.723, subdivision 2, is
1.5amended to read:
1.6    Subd. 2. Limited application. This section only applies to individuals performing
1.7public or private sector commercial or residential building construction or improvement
1.8services, as defined in section 326.83. Building construction and improvement services do
1.9not include: (1) the manufacture, supply, or sale of products, materials, or merchandise;
1.10(2) landscaping services for the maintenance or removal of existing plants, shrubs, trees,
1.11and other vegetation, whether or not the services are provided as part of a contract for
1.12the building construction or improvement services; and (3) all other landscaping services,
1.13unless the other landscaping services are provided as part of a contract for the building
1.14construction or improvement services."
1.15Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.16Amend the title accordingly
