1.4    "Report. The commissioner shall make a report to the legislature by January 15,
1.52008, regarding the transfer of funds to counties for state registered nurses employed
1.6in community mental health pilots as part of the assertive community treatment teams
1.7under section 245.4661. The report shall address the impact of the nursing shortage on
1.8replacing these positions, continuity of patient care if these positions cannot be filled,
1.9and ways to maintain state registered nurses in these positions until the nurse retires or
1.10leaves employment. No funds for state registered nurse positions may be transferred
1.11before the report date."
