1.3    "Sec. 62. Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 256B.434, is amended by adding a
1.4subdivision to read:
1.5    Subd. 4o. Rate increase for facilities in Olmsted County. Effective October
1.61, 2007, operating payment rates of all nursing facilities in Olmsted County that are
1.7reimbursed under this section or section 256B.441 shall be increased to be equal, for
1.8a RUG's rate with a weight of 1.00, to the geographic group III median rate for the
1.9same RUG's weight. The percentage of the operating payment rate for each facility to
1.10be case-mix adjusted shall be equal to the percentage that is case-mix adjusted in that
1.11facility's September 30, 2007, operating payment rate. This subdivision applies only if it
1.12results in a rate increase. Increases provided by this subdivision shall be added to the rate
1.13determined under any new reimbursement system established under section 256B.441."
