1.4    "Sec. 8. [152.28] FEES.
1.5    Notwithstanding section 16A.1283, the commissioner of health shall establish
1.6application and renewal fees that generate revenues sufficient to offset all expenses of
1.7implementing and administering sections 152.22 to 152.31. The commissioner of health
1.8may vary the application and renewal fees on a sliding scale that accounts for a qualifying
1.9patient's income. Fee receipts shall be credited to the general fund. The commissioner of
1.10health may accept donations from private sources to reduce the application and renewal
1.11fees."
1.12Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.13Amend the title accordingly
