1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. CONTINUED NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION FUNDING
1.4REPORT.
1.5    The neighborhood revitalization policy board established under Minnesota
1.6Statutes, section 469.1831, subdivision 6, paragraph (c), must evaluate the need for
1.7continued funding for the neighborhood revitalization program and prepare a report
1.8with recommendations to both continue funding the program and providing investment
1.9in Minneapolis neighborhoods beyond 2009. By October 15, 2007, the report must
1.10be presented to the committees of the legislature responsible for the neighborhood
1.11revitalization program and must provide specific recommendations for legislative actions
1.12based on a commitment from the common project or other sources of at least $400 million
1.13for the neighborhood revitalization program between 1990 and 2029. Revenue sources for
1.14the neighborhood revitalization program must not include any interest earned on funds
1.15appropriated for the implementation of an adopted neighborhood action plan."
1.16Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.17Amend the title accordingly
