1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 97A.441, is amended by adding a
1.4subdivision to read:
1.5    Subd. 11. Firearm safety volunteer instructors. A person authorized to issue
1.6licenses must issue, without a fee, a license to take deer by firearms to a resident who has
1.7been a volunteer firearms safety instructor under section 97B.015 for at least 30 years."
