1.3Page 5, line 22, delete "$5,088,000" and insert "(a) $3,579,000"
1.4Page 5, line 23, delete "in the first year and $5,423,000" and insert "is appropriated
1.5in each year of the biennium"
1.6Page 5, line 24, delete "in the second year are appropriated"
1.7Page 5, after line 31 insert:
1.8    "(b) $5,088,000 in the first year and $5,423,000 in the second year is appropriated to
1.9the commissioner of health for the family home visiting grant program. The commissioner
1.10shall distribute funds to community health boards using a formula developed in
1.11conjunction with the State Community Health Services Advisory Committee. The
1.12commissioner may use five percent of the funds appropriated in each fiscal year to
1.13conduct the ongoing evaluations required under Minnesota Statutes, section 145A.17,
1.14subdivision 7, and may use ten percent of the funds appropriated each fiscal year to
1.15provide training and technical assistance as required under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.16145A.17, subdivisions 4 and 5."
