1.1    .................... moves to amend H.F. No. 2690 as follows:
1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. SPRINGBROOK NATURE CENTER.
1.4    Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $3,100,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.5fund to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to the city of Fridley to predesign, design,
1.6construct, furnish, and equip the redevelopment and expansion of the Springbrook Nature
1.7Center. No nonstate match is required.
1.8    Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond
1.9proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an
1.10amount up to $3,100,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect prescribed by
1.11Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution,
1.12article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
