1.3Page 2, after line 7, insert:

1.4    "Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2007 Supplement, section 256J.626, subdivision 3, is
1.5amended to read:
1.6    Subd. 3. Eligibility for services. Families with a minor child, a pregnant woman,
1.7or a noncustodial parent of a minor child receiving assistance, with incomes below 200
1.8percent of the federal poverty guideline for a family of the applicable size, are eligible for
1.9services funded under the consolidated fund. Counties and tribes must give priority to
1.10families currently receiving MFIP, the diversionary work program, or family stabilization
1.11services, and families at risk of receiving MFIP or diversionary work program. A county
1.12or tribe shall not impose a residency requirement on families, except for the residency
1.13requirement under section 256J.12."
1.14Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.15Amend the title accordingly
