1.3    "Sec. .... EXEMPTION.
1.4    The Board of Physical Therapy shall grant a waiver of the examination requirements
1.5under Minnesota Statutes, section 148.723, to an applicant applying for licensure before
1.6July 1, 2008, who has been issued physical therapy licenses between 1980 and 1995 in at
1.7least three other states and one or more foreign countries. The licenses issued by the other
1.8states and foreign country must be in good standing or were in good standing at the time
1.9the license expired. The applicant must meet all other requirements of Minnesota Statutes,
1.10section 148.705. This waiver expires on September 1, 2008.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
