1.4    "Sec. 11. FEDERAL APPROVAL FOR INCREASED DSH PAYMENTS.
1.5    The commissioner of human services, in cooperation with hospitals with high rates
1.6of utilization by medical assistance enrollees, shall develop and submit by January 1, 2009
1.7for federal approval, a proposal to increase disproportionate share hospital payments to
1.8Minnesota hospitals. In developing the proposal, the commissioner shall consider, but
1.9is not required to adopt, disproportionate share hospital payment proposals from other
1.10states that have received federal approval."
1.11Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.12Amend the title accordingly
