1.3Page 42, after line 21, insert:

1.4    "Sec. 10. [256B.766] PAYMENT REALLOCATION.
1.5    The commissioner shall increase medical assistance and general assistance medical
1.6care fee-for-service payment rates by 50 percent for payment codes related to office or
1.7other outpatient visits, office or other outpatient consultations, and preventive medicine
1.8services. The commissioner shall reduce medical assistance and general assistance
1.9medical care fee-for-service payment rates for all other physician and professional
1.10services, excluding mental health and rehabilitative services, by the percentage necessary
1.11to implement this section in a budget neutral manner. The commission shall require
1.12demonstration providers providing services under sections 256B.69 and 256B.692 to
1.13adjust payment rates for providers under contract, to reflect these increases and decreases."
1.14Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.15Amend the title accordingly
