1.3    "Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 473.1293, is amended by adding a
1.4subdivision to read:
1.5    Subd. 6. Renewable energy; transit or wastewater facilities. For purposes of
1.6providing a source of renewable energy for its transit or wastewater facilities, the council
1.7may exercise the powers of a county under section 373.48; provided that funding for such
1.8purposes shall be from the proceeds of bonds issued for transit or wastewater purposes
1.9under section 473.39 or 473.541."
1.10Amend the title accordingly
