1.3    "Subd. 3. Trade secret. Any person providing information under this section may,
1.4at the time of submission, identify a portion of the information submitted to the agency as
1.5trade secret information, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes chapter 13. Information supplied
1.6that is a trade secret, and that is so marked at the time of submission, shall not be released
1.7to any member of the public. This section does not prohibit the exchange of properly
1.8designated trade secrets between public agencies when those trade secrets are relevant and
1.9necessary to the exercise of their jurisdiction if the public agencies exchanging those trade
1.10secrets preserve the protections afforded that information by this subdivision."
