1.53, from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic
1.6development for bioscience business development public infrastructure grants under
1.7Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.435, up to $2,000,000 may be used for a grant to the
1.8city of Pine Island for the design and construction of publicly-owned water and sewer
1.9infrastructure at the Elk Run Bioscience Park. Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes,
1.10section 116J.435, the grant under this section may be used for public infrastructure to
1.11support residential, industrial, office or research park development. The limits under
1.12Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.435, subdivision 3, paragraph (b), apply to the grant
1.13under this section."
