1.8$800,000 is for a grant to the city of
1.9Worthington to remediate contaminated soil
1.10and redevelop the site of the former Campbell
1.11Soup factory. This grant is exempt from the
1.12requirements of Minnesota Statutes, sections
1.13116J.572 to 116J.575. Notwithstanding
1.14Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642, the
1.15bond authorization and appropriation of the
1.16bond proceeds for this project do not cancel.
1.17$250,000 is for a grant to the city of Winona
1.18to predesign facilities for a multipurpose
1.19events center and arena to be used for the
1.20Shakespeare Festival, Beethoven Festival,
1.21and Winona State University events. This
1.22grant is exempt from the requirements of
1.23Minnesota Statutes, sections 116J.572 to
1.24116J.575 ."
