1.5    "Sec. 2. REPORT WAIVER.
1.6The requirement for a report specified in subdivision 3, paragraph (b), clause (2), of
1.7this section is waived for the report due on April 1, 2010.

1.8    Sec. 3. WORKING GROUP ON SCORE REPORTING.
1.9By July 1, 2009, the commissioner shall convene a working group on SCORE
1.10Reporting to review the requirements for counties to report to the agency on activities
1.11funded under Minnesota Statutes, section 115A.557. The commissioner shall appoint to
1.12the working group representatives from, at a minimum, the following organizations:
1.13the Association of Minnesota Counties, the Solid Waste Administrators Association,
1.14and the Solid Waste Management Coordinating Board. The working group shall make
1.15recommendations to amend the reporting requirements under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.16115A.557, subdivision 3, in ways that reduce the resources counties employ to collect the
1.17data reported, while insuring that estimation methods used to report data are consistent
1.18across counties and that the data reported is accurate and useful as a guide to solid waste
1.19management policy makers. The working group shall also make recommendations
1.20regarding the feasibility and desirability of multicounty reporting of the data. The working
1.21group's recommendations must be presented in a report submitted to the chairs and ranking
1.22minority members of the senate and house of representatives committees with primary
1.23jurisdiction over solid waste policy no later than January 15, 2010."
1.24Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.25Amend the title accordingly
