1.6health care programs application form to add a question asking applicants: "Are you a U.S.
1.7military veteran?" The commissioner shall ensure that all applicants for MinnesotaCare,
1.8with incomes less than or equal to 133 percent of the federal poverty guidelines, who
1.9identify themselves as veterans, are referred to a county veterans service officer to
1.10complete a Veterans Administration form DD214 to determine their eligibility for Veterans
1.11Administration benefits."
