1.4    "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2009 Supplement, section 82B.05, subdivision 1, is
1.5amended to read:
1.6    Subdivision 1. Members. The Real Estate Appraiser Advisory Board consists of
1.715 nine members appointed by the commissioner of commerce. Three of the members
1.8must be public members, four must be consumers of appraisal services, of whom one
1.9member must be employed in the financial lending industry, and eight six must be real
1.10estate appraisers who are currently licensed in good standing, of whom not less than two
1.11three members must be trainee real property appraisers, licensed real property appraisers,
1.12or certified residential real property appraisers, not less than two and three members must
1.13be certified general real property appraisers, and not less than. At least one member of the
1.14board must be certified by the Appraisal Qualification Board of the Appraisal Foundation
1.15to teach the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Each of the three
1.16categories of members must include at least one member who lives or works outside of the
1.17seven-county metropolitan area. The board is governed by section 15.0575.
