1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 471.701, is amended to read:
1.4471.701 SALARY DATA.
1.5A city or county with a population of more than 15,000 that does not own and
1.6operate a public hospital must annually notify its residents of the positions and base
1.7salaries of its three highest-paid employees. This notice may be provided on the home
1.8page of the primary Web site maintained by the political subdivision for a period of
1.9not less than 90 consecutive days, in a publication of the political subdivision that is
1.10distributed to all residents in the political subdivision, or as part of the annual notice of
1.11proposed property taxes prepared under section 275.065. A city or county that owns
1.12and operates a public hospital must, in the same manner, notify its residents annually of
1.13the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid hospital employees and its three
1.14highest-paid nonhospital employees."
1.15Amend the title accordingly
