1.3    "Sec. 4. DIRECTION TO COMMISSIONER; FEDERAL WAIVER.
1.4The commissioner of human services shall apply to the Centers for Medicare
1.5and Medicaid Services for a federal waiver to cover eligible families with children
1.6under the MinnesotaCare healthy Minnesota contribution program established under
1.7Minnesota Statutes, section 256L.031 by July 1, 2011. The commissioner shall report to
1.8the legislative committees with jurisdiction over health and human services policy and
1.9finance whether or not the federal waiver application was accepted within ten working
1.10days of receipt of the decision.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
