1.2Pages 2 to 3, delete sections 2 and 3 and insert:

1.3    "Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 168A.11, subdivision 4, is amended to read:
1.4    Subd. 4. Centralized record keeping. Three Two or more new motor vehicle
1.5dealers under common management or control may designate apply to the department in
1.6writing a single location for maintaining for permission to maintain the records required
1.7by this section that are more than 12 months old and section 168.27, subdivision 10,
1.8paragraph (a), clause (1)(i), at a single location. The department shall not unreasonably
1.9withhold its consent to the application. The records must be open to inspection by a
1.10representative of the department or a peace officer during reasonable business hours.
1.11The location must be at the established place of business of one of the affiliated dealers
1.12or at a location within Minnesota not further than 25 miles from the established place of
1.13business of one of the affiliated dealers."
1.14Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.15Amend the title accordingly
