1.5Page 60, delete lines 8 to 15, and insert:
1.6"(f) Accelerated Land Sales and Exchanges
1.7$100,000 the first year is from the trust
1.8fund to the commissioner of natural
1.9resources to develop a plan to accelerate
1.10the evaluation of its land holdings and
1.11sell, exchange, and acquire property more
1.12efficiently to effectively achieve its land
1.13management goals in counties where public
1.14land ownership exceeds 50 percent. The
1.15commissioner shall submit the plan to
1.16the chairs of the house of representative
1.17and senate committees and divisions with
1.18jurisdiction over environment and natural
1.19resources policy and finance by February
1.201, 2012. $100,000 the second year is
1.21from the trust fund to the commissioner of
1.22natural resources to implement the plan.
1.23In developing and implementing the plan,
1.24the commissioner shall maintain a goal that
1.25the net result of the sales, exchanges, and
1.26acquisitions do not increase the total acreage
