1.3Page 52, after line 23, insert:

1.4    "Sec. .... Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 462A.29, is amended to read:
1.5462A.29 INTERAGENCY COORDINATION ON HOMELESSNESS.
1.6(a) The agency shall coordinate services and activities of all state agencies relating
1.7to homelessness. The agency shall coordinate an investigation and review of the current
1.8system of service delivery to the homeless. The agency may request assistance from other
1.9agencies of state government as needed for the execution of the responsibilities under this
1.10section and the other agencies shall furnish the assistance upon request.
1.11(b) The interagency council on homelessness established to assist with the execution
1.12of the duties of this section shall give priority to improving the coordination of services
1.13and activities that reduce the number of children and military veterans who experience
1.14homelessness and improve the economic, health, social, and education outcomes for
1.15children and military veterans who experience homelessness."
1.16Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.17Amend the title accordingly
