1.3Page 3, after line 23, insert:

1.4    "Sec. 4. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 120B.13, subdivision 4, is amended to read:
1.5    Subd. 4. Rigorous course-taking information; AP, IB, and PSEO. The
1.6commissioner shall submit the following information on rigorous course-taking to the
1.7education committees of the legislature each year by February 1:
1.8(1) the number of pupils enrolled in postsecondary enrollment options under
1.9section 124D.09, including concurrent enrollment, advanced placement, and international
1.10baccalaureate courses in each school district;
1.11(2) the number of teachers in each district attending training programs offered by
1.12the college board or, International Baccalaureate North America, Inc., or Minnesota
1.13concurrent enrollment programs;
1.14(3) the number of teachers in each district participating in support programs;
1.15(4) recent trends in the field of postsecondary enrollment options under section
1.16124D.09, including concurrent enrollment, advanced placement, and international
1.17baccalaureate programs;
1.18(5) expenditures for each category in this section and under sections 124D.09 and
1.19124D.091; and
1.20(6) other recommendations for the state program or the postsecondary enrollment
1.21options under section 124D.09, including concurrent enrollment.
1.22EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for the 2012-2013 school year and
1.23later."
1.24Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.25Amend the title accordingly
