1.7the direction of a registered nurse. Training and competency evaluations must include
1.8the following:
1.9(1) documentation requirements for all services provided;
1.10(2) reports of changes in the client's condition to the supervisor designated by the
1.11home care provider;
1.12(3) basic infection control, including blood-borne pathogens;
1.13(4) maintenance of a clean and safe environment;
1.14(5) appropriate and safe techniques in personal hygiene and grooming, including
1.15hair care, bathing, care of teeth, gums, oral prosthetic devices, and other activities of
1.16daily living (ADLs);
1.17(6) an understanding of what constitutes a healthy diet according to data from the
1.18Centers for Disease Control and the skills necessary to prepare that diet;
