1.3    "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 287.05, is amended by adding a
1.4subdivision to read:
1.5    Subd. 10. Hennepin and Ramsey County. For properties located in Hennepin and
1.6Ramsey County, the county may impose an additional mortgage registry tax as defined in
1.7sections 383A.80 and 383B.80.
1.8EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.

1.9    Sec. 2. [287.40] HENNEPIN AND RAMSEY COUNTY.
1.10    For properties located in Hennepin or Ramsey County, the county may impose an
1.11additional deed tax as defined in sections 383A.80 and 383B.80.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
