1.3    "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 148E.0555, subdivision 2, is amended to
1.4read:
1.5    Subd. 2. Eligible agency personnel. When submitting the application for licensure,
1.6the applicant must provide evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant is currently
1.7employed by a:
1.8(1) Minnesota city or state agency, and:
1.9(i) at any time within three years of the date of submitting an application for
1.10licensure was presented to the public by any title incorporating the words "social work" or
1.11"social worker," while employed by that agency for a minimum of six months; or
1.12(ii) at any time within three years of the date of submitting an application for
1.13licensure was engaged in the practice of social work, including clinical social work, as
1.14described in section 148E.010, subdivisions 6 and 11, while employed by that agency
1.15for a minimum of six months; or
1.16(2) private nonprofit, nontribal or tribal agency whose primary service focus
1.17addresses ethnic minority populations, and the applicant is a member of an ethnic minority
1.18population within the agency, previously exempt from licensure under Minnesota Statutes
1.192010, section 148D.065, subdivision 5, and section 148E.065, subdivision 5, and:
1.20(i) at any time within three years of the date of submitting an application for
1.21licensure was presented to the public by any title incorporating the words "social work" or
1.22"social worker," while employed by that agency for a minimum of six months; or
1.23(ii) at any time within three years of the date of submitting an application for
1.24licensure was engaged in the practice of social work, including clinical social work, as
1.25described under section 148E.010, subdivisions 6 and 11, while employed by that agency
1.26for a minimum of six months."
1.27Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
2.1Amend the title accordingly
