1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 84.415, is amended by adding a
1.4subdivision to read:
1.5    Subd. 7. Fee exemptions. A utility license for crossing public lands or public
1.6waters is exempt from all fees specified in this section and in rules adopted under this
1.7section when the utility crossing is on an existing right-of-way of a public road or is a
1.8renewal of an existing license."
1.9Amend the title accordingly
