1.7for Medicare and Medicaid Services to allow persons under age 65, participating in
1.8a home and community-based services waiver under section 1915(c) of the Social
1.9Security Act, to continue to disregard spousal income and assets, in place of the spousal
1.10impoverishment provisions under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care
1.11Act (Public Law 111-148), section 2404, as amended by the federal Health Care and
1.12Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Public Law 111-152), and any amendments to, or
1.13regulations and guidance issued under, those acts."
