1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. STUDY.
1.4The Minnesota State Arts Board shall study the following topics relating to artists
1.5from diverse racial and ethnic communities:
1.6(1) utilization of artists from diverse racial and ethnic communities in the state's arts
1.7institutions that have 20 or more employees;
1.8(2) barriers that hinder the growth of these artists;
1.9(3) facility needs of these artists; and
1.10(4) business development and technical needs of these artists.
1.11The board shall report by June 30, 2015 to the governor and to the chairs and ranking
1.12minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction over arts funding with
1.13recommendations to address the board's finding. The board must post the report on
1.14its Web site, and must make additional reasonable efforts to make the Minnesota arts
1.15community aware of the report."
