1.3    "Section 1. APPROPRIATION; PLASTIC MICROBEAD INFORMATION.
1.4$1,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.5of the Pollution Control Agency to compile information on the presence of plastic
1.6microbeads in the state's waters and their potential impacts on aquatic ecosystems and
1.7human health, in consultation with the University of Minnesota. No later than December
1.815, 2014, the commissioner must present the information to the legislative committees
1.9with jurisdiction over environment and natural resources policy and finance and make
1.10recommendations."
