1.3Page 59, after line 29, insert:

1.4    "Sec. 7. [120B.129] GRADE POINT AVERAGE WEIGHTING.
1.5(a) For purposes of this section, "dual credit course" means a course taken during
1.6high school that may result in both high school and college credit being awarded,
1.7including advanced placement, international baccalaureate, project lead the way, college
1.8in the schools, postsecondary enrollment options, and concurrent enrollment.
1.9(b) If a school district or charter school weights any dual credit course in calculating
1.10a student's overall grade point average, the district or charter school must give equal
1.11weight to all dual credit courses in calculating a student's grade point average."
1.12Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.13Amend the title accordingly
