1.2(H3158DE1), as follows:
1.3Page 4, after line 22, insert:
1.4"$9,000 in 2015 is for the commissioner,
1.5in consultation with interested parties,
1.6agencies, and other states, to develop a
1.7detailed restoration plan to recover the
1.8historical native population of bobwhite
1.9quail in Minnesota for its ecological and
1.10recreational benefits to the citizens of the
1.11state. The commissioner shall conduct public
1.12meetings in developing the plan. No later
1.13than January 15, 2015, the commissioner
1.14must report on the plan's progress to the
1.15legislative committees with jurisdiction over
1.16environment and natural resources policy
1.17and finance. This is a onetime appropriation.
1.18Adjust amounts accordingly"
