Chair Thomas Huntley began the forty-seventh meeting at 12:34 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present when the meeting began.

Department of Human Services budget forecast presentation by George Hoffman, Reports and Forecast Division. Susan Snyder, forecast staff, was present as well. Discussion occurred during the testimony.
The Chair introduced 9th grade students from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School, Kerkhoven, Minnesota, who were in the audience and visiting the Capitol participating in the Minnesota Historical Society Capitol Historic Site's "Voice for the People: Your Role in Minnesota Government" tour and education program.
Chair Huntley adjourned the meeting at 2:00 p.m.
