MINUTES
Representative Abeler, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:37 P.M. on January 13, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Judy Plante, Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Management and Budget, and Charlie Bieleck, Director, Budget Planning and Operations, Minnesota Department of Management and Budget, presented an overview of the 2005 government shutdown.
Representative Hamilton assumed the gavel at 1:05 P.M.
Bob Meyer, Director, Data and Research, Care Providers of Minnesota, Jeff Bostic, Director, Data and Financial Policy, Aging Services of Minnesota, and Jen McNertney, Director, Advocacy for Housing and Community Services, Aging Services of Minnesota presented an overview of Long-Term Care funding.
Representative Abeler assumed the gavel at 2:11 P.M.
Representative McElfatrick moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 11, 2011, be approved. The minutes were adopted as corrected. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:14 P.M
