Chair Thomas Huntley called the fifth meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Committee to order at 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Representative Halverson moved approval of the January 23 minutes. The motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.

Overview Health and Human Services 2014-2015 Biennial Budget, including Human Services Governor's changes, by Commissioner Lucinda Jesson and Assistant Commissioner of Health Care Scott Leitz.

Karen Gibson of DHS came to the table to respond to a question and Fiscal Analyst Doug Berg commented on an inquiry of a member regarding the format now being used by Minnesota Management and Budget.

Chair Huntley adjourned the meeting at 11:33 a.m.
