MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:07 P.M. on May 4, 2015 in Hearing Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Cornish began the meeting at 1:04 P.M. A quorum was NOT present.

A quorum was present at 1:07 P.M. and the meeting was called to order.

Representative Newberger moved that the minutes from the April 14, 2015 meeting be approved.

THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 0748 (Albright): Public land and building betterment and acquisition and other capital improvements spending authorized, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Cornish moved HF 0748 to be passed and referred to the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee.

Representative Cornish moved the DE1 Amendment.

THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Cornish moved the A1 Amendment.

Representative Cornish moved to orally amend the A1 Amendment as follows:
Page 1, Line 6: before “From” insert “notwithstanding Minnesota statutes, section 12A.03, subdivision 3”
