Representative Greg Davids, Chairman of the Taxes Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 AM on March 15, 2016, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

Chair Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:21 AM. A quorum was present.
Chair Davids moved House File 2943 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus Bill.
Chair Davids moved the H2943A1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Erik Simonson moved to amend the minutes of March 10, 2016 to reflect that Rep. Jim Knoblach was present. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Simonson moved the minutes of March 10, 2016 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Jacob Smith, an attorney with the Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified to House File 2943 as amended.
Jeremy Eiden, an attorney with the Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified to House File 2943 as amended.
John O’Mahoney, an attorney with the Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified to House File 2943 as amended.
Kyle Gustafson, an attorney with the Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified to House File 2943 as amended.
Keith Carlson, Executive Director of the Minnesota Inter-County Association, testified to House File 2943 as amended.
Chair Davids renewed his motion and moved House File 2943 as amended to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.
Chair Davids moved House File 2871 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus Bill.
Chair Davids moved the H2871A1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
John O’Mahoney, an attorney with the Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified to House File 2871 as amended.
Chair Davids renewed his motion and moved House File 2871 as amended to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.
