MINUTES
Representative John Petersburg, Vice Chair of the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee, began the seventeenth meeting at 12:52 p.m. on March 11, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

Jim Hirst, Lobbyist for the Minnesota Deputy Registrars Association, testified in opposition to HF610.
Vice Chair Petersburg called the meeting to order at 12:58 p.m. A quorum was present.
Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes of March 9, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF610 (Davnie): Towed recreational vehicles registration on a three-year cycle provided.
Vice Chair Petersburg moved that HF610 come before the committee.
Vice Chair Petersburg laid over HF610 for possible inclusion in the Transportation Policy and Finance Omnibus Bill.
HF901 (Hancock): Lake of the Woods County; weather transmitter funding provided, and money appropriated.
Vice Chair Petersburg moved that HF901 come before the committee.
Representative Hancock testified on HF901.
Vice Chair Petersburg laid over HF901 for possible inclusion in the Transportation Policy and Finance Omnibus Bill.
HF533 (Nash): Start Seeing Motorcycles special license plates established, and money appropriated.
Representative Nash moved that HF533 come before the committee.

Mike Berger, Member of American Bikers for awareness, Training, and Education of Minnesota, testified in support of HF533.

HF1159 (Nash): Aerodynamic device exclusion for motor vehicle length limits provided.
Representative Nash moved that HF1159 come before the committee.

HF1160 (Sanders): Motor vehicle inspection report governing regulations amended.
Vice Chair Petersburg moved that HF1160 come before the committee.
Vice Chair Petersburg moved the H1160A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1350 (Norton): Nonemergency medical transportation providers regulated, and nonemergency medical transportation service payment rates modified.
Representative Norton moved to recommend HF1350 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Reform.
Representative Norton testified on HF1350.
Representative Norton moved the H1350A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
