MINUTES

Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 9:47 A.M. on, March 3, 2020, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

HF1405 (Stephenson) - Clean Energy First Act established, and electric utilities required to meet resource needs using clean energy resources.

Representative Stephenson moved that HF1405 be returned to the committee on Ways and Means with a recommendation to be re-referred to the division on Jobs and Economic Development.

Representative Stephenson moved the HF1405DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Long moved that the HF1405A18 amendment be divided into two parts as followed:
First Part: Lines 1.1 to 1.5
Second Part: Lines 1.6 to 1.9

Chair Wagenius ruled the amendment divisible.

Representative Long moved the Second Part, lines 1.6 to 1.9, of the HF1405A18 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE FIRST PART WAS ADOPTED.
