Representative Michael Howard, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on February 15, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

Representative Norris moved that the minutes of February 14, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 831 (Reyer) Housing Finance Agency required to require reasonable pet policies in buildings financed by agency.
Chair Howard moved to lay over HF 831 for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy Committee omnibus bill.
Chair Howard moved the H0831A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Reyer presented HF 831 as amended.

HF 758 (Perez-Vega) Landlord prohibited from taking actions that encourage or require tenant to declaw or devocalize animal, and civil penalties authorized.
Representative Perez-Vega moved to lay over HF 758 for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy Committee omnibus bill.
