PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:33 AM on, March 21st, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Grossell moved the minutes of March 20th, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3725 (Wolgamott) Local correctional officers provided in Peace Officers Discipline Procedures Act.

Chair Moller moved that HF3725 be laid over.

Chair Moller moved the HF3304A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

HF 2609 (Berg) Regulation of machine guns modified.

Chair Moller moved that HF2609 be laid over.

Chair Moller moved that HF2609DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

Minority Leader Demuth presented HF3757.

Chair Moller renewed the motion that HF3757 be laid over.

HF 310 (Nash) Residency provisions modified for level III predatory offenders.

Chair Moller moved that HF310 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Moller moved the HF310DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

Representative Nash presented HF310 as amended.
