Rep. Davis Takes Oath of Office, Announces Committee Assignments
ST. PAUL – State Rep. Ben Davis returned to the Capitol on Tuesday to be sworn in as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives.
“I’m incredibly grateful to have this opportunity,” said Davis. “While my colleagues in the DFL are refusing to do their job, I’ll be here working hard for my District and the State of Minnesota.”
This will be Davis’s second term representing the people of District 6A. He is a member of the House committee on Veterans and Military Affairs and will serve as Vice Chair of the committee on State Government Finance and Policy.
Davis said House Republicans recently shared a list of priorities for the 2025 legislative session. They include:
- Stop the Fraud
- Make Minnesota Affordable
- Make Minnesota Safe
- Raise Standards, Reduce Mandates
- Minnesota Tax Dollars for Minnesotans
- Build for the Future
