St. Paul, MN - Today, the Minnesota House and Senate met in a joint session to elect members to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota. Robyn Gulley was elected for the Second Congressional District, Mary Turner for the Third, Tadd Johnson for the Eighth, and Penny Wheeler for the At Large position.
“The House/Senate Joint Higher Education Committee agreed in a bipartisan public meeting to support the Regent Candidates, which were presented to and elected by the Joint Convention of the House and Senate this evening,” said Rep. Gene Pelowski (DFL - Winona), Chair of the House Higher Education Committee.
