I hope all is well and you enjoyed a safe, if snowy, holiday break.
House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler and several of my colleagues are working on laying the groundwork for a responsible framework for legalizing adult-use cannabis in a way that is safe, responsible, and responds to the needs of Minnesotans.
By creating a regulatory framework, we can address the harms caused by cannabis and establish a more sensible set of laws to improve our health care and criminal justice systems and ensure better outcomes for communities. It can help veterans legally get the care they need, allow law enforcement to focus resources on more serious crimes, and expand freedom for Minnesotans. But we want to hear what you think!
