SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tuesday, the 2021 Legislative Session convened at the State Capitol and Rep. Tina Liebling (DFL – Rochester) took the oath of office to begin her ninth term in the Minnesota House.
“I am honored to continue serving the people of Rochester at the Capitol, and to continue providing leadership in the health care area,” Rep. Liebling said. “In addition to getting the COVID-19 threat under control, we will continue working to give all Minnesotans the opportunity to be live healthy lives. We will look closely at tools such as telemedicine, preventative health strategies, services for mental and chemical health, and ways to ensure that everyone can access care when they need it, for a price they can afford.”
This session, Rep. Liebling will serve as chair of the new Health Finance and Policy Committee, which will focus on strengthening Minnesota’s health care system and delivering accessible and affordable health care for Minnesotans. She will also serve on the Ways and Means, Human Services, and Judiciary committees, and as an ex-officio member of the Preventative Health Policy Division.
Rep. Liebling encourages constituents to contact her with their input, feedback, and questions. Her email address is rep.tina.liebling@house.mn and Capitol phone number is 651-296-0573.
