SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Wednesday, the House Health Finance & Policy Committee discussed the COVID-19 vaccine’s distribution in the state of Minnesota. The committee received an update from Minnesota Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm, who also took questions from members of the committee.
“It is remarkable that effective COVID-19 vaccines have been developed so quickly, but Minnesotans are rightfully frustrated that the federal government has made so few doses available,” said Rep. Tina Liebling (DFL – Rochester), the committee chair. “We hope and expect that the Biden administration will move quickly to distribute larger supplies of vaccines. When it does, Minnesota will work quickly to vaccinate our people.”
