It is my great privilege to invite you to the Minnesota State Capitol this coming weekend, August 11-13th for the Grand Opening of the Minnesota State Capitol. This weekend’s events follow the $310 million restoration of the State Capitol, the first since it opened in 1905.
There are many fun and exciting Minnesota-themed events and all FREE to the public, with one exception. Those wanting tickets to the “Cap Untapped” Minnesota craft beer tasting event on Saturday, August 12 at from 4:00-6:00 PM on the Capitol Lawn should go to www.tempotickets.com/CapUntapped. From Yoga and blueberry muffins on the front lawn each morning, to three full days of jam packed events including special tours, speaking panels, multicultural performances, scavenger hunt, Prince Dance Party, live concerts, FIREWORKS, and much more.
